THIRUKKURAL VIZHA 2025 – INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITION

Upholding Tamil Heritage with Pride Students Stole the Limelight at Thirukkural Vizha 2025!

The prestigious Thirukkural Vizha 2025, an interschool competition organised by Sriram Chits Ilakiya Kazhagam, was held on Saturday, the 26th July 2025 at Balabharathi Matriculation School, Maravaneri, Salem. This annual literary and cultural celebration, conducted since 1988, is dedicated to create awareness and appreciation of the timeless wisdom enshrined in the Thirukkural.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 700 students representing various schools across Salem. Students competed in Drawing, Speech, and Essay Writing competitions, each aimed at deepening their engagement with Tamil literature and values.

Our school students enthusiastically participated and performed remarkably, securing various prizes across all categories.

In the Drawing Competition, Shashra of Class VII won the 1st Prize. Mugesh G.C of Class XII, Sahithi & Rithika of Class IX, Rakshana of Class VIII, Rishvika & Hanish of Class VII and Nandha Rooban of Class V received consolation prizes. In Speech Competition Shreya & Urvila Fathima of Class VII earned consolation prizes. In Essay Writing Competition Ashwitha of Class VIII won 3rd prize and Sashwath & Hanushri of Class VIII were awarded consolation prizes.
