On 24th October 2024, our school 6 – 8 category celebrated Retro Rewop: Students’ Day in tribute to former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at the Kandasamy Convention Hall. The event was graced by our Chief Guests, Shri Gautam Goyal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Salem, and Smt. Varsha Chhalotre, IRTS, Divisional Commercial Manager, Salem, along with Guest of Honor Shri Jayanthan V, B.Com, MBA, an esteemed alumnus.

The event began with the presidential address delivered by our beloved Secretary Shri. K. Dhanasekar, who shared his inspiring vision for society and the role of education in shaping future leaders. Following this, Smt. Varsha Chhalotre captivated the audience with her thought-provoking speech, encouraging students to seize every opportunity to hone their skills and purse excellence. Shri Gautam Goyal addressed the gathering with a heartfelt message about the importance of respecting teacher and elders, emphasizing the lifelong guidance they provide. Mr. Jayanthan V further inspired the students by urging them to embrace their uniqueness and showcase their talents in diverse arenas.

Students form Classes 6 to 8 presented a dazzling array of performances, including a Welcome Dance, Martial Arts Show, and various skits and dances, captivating the audience with their talent and creativity. The cultural extravaganza was a testament to the hard work and creativity of our students, leaving the audience spellbound with their exuberant performances. This vibrant celebration not only highlighted the rich talents of our students but also served as a powerful motivation for them to grow into ideal citizens of our nation.

The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, uniting everyone in pride and respect for our nation. The event was a resounding success, celebrating our students and honoring Dr. Kalam’s Legacy.
