Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival that marks the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom, bestows his presence on Earth during this festival and removes the obstacles. With such belief the Montessori wing celebrated the auspicious day on 15/09/2023(Friday).
The sole purpose of the celebration was to let the students stay rooted with Indian culture and to enable them to understand the significance of this festival.
The celebration began with the grand display of Ganesha idols and puja in the lobby followed by Ganesh Arti and Prasad distribution to all. The tiny tots were told about the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi. To mark the beginning of this festive mood, the Children were elaborated about the story related to the celebration. They thoroughly enjoyed the story about young Ganesha. The day ended on a happy note wherein all the children offered prayers with flowers brought from their home. There was devotion, creativity and fun all around.
