• to perform exercises such as stretching and bending while drawing kolam.
• to develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor abilities.
• What are dots, lines, curves, and loops?
• to draw many sorts of Kolams using various dot patterns, line types, curves, and  loops.

Learning outcome

• The Kolam Activity session provided a profound understanding of the formation of various types of shapes.
• The ability to make distinct items (closed forms) by combining similar things.
• The lesson inspired the concept of being creative and imaginative in order to create new things.
• Learnt new vocabularies such as Kolam, Rangoli, dot, line, curve, loop, break of dawn and so on.
